Breathable Construction
A film fabric is used to achieve the increased breathability and waterproofing, which is then sealed to our special reflective material. In addition to our special reflective material, there are millions of tiny reflective glass beads embedded within the material. In the daylight, the Cycling Jacket is a stylish grey colour with a black dot pattern. At night when the material and the millions of tiny reflective beads pick up an external light source, such as vehicle headlights, the grey colour transforms, providing ultimate reflectivity to other road users.
Lightweight Material
The unique lighter weight material helps ensure cyclists, who like to push things a little bit harder, stay cool. The ‘through-flow’ extra ventilation is still achieved using the same effective shoulder/back and under arm vents. This allows the cyclist to regulate body temperature, adjusting to the season and climate. By opening the front zipper vents a ‘through-flow’ is achieved. The air enters the front vents, cools the body and exits via the shoulder/back vents without letting in any rain water.
Storm Zippers
In addition to the breathable and waterproof film, the inner seams are taped, so not even a raindrop could pass through the sewing lines. For additional waterproofing, the main storm zip is seam sealed and protected with a storm flap. The two exterior chest pocket storm zips are also seam sealed. The interior chest pocket is secured with Velcro for comfort. The zipped large exterior lower back pocket and the air vents are protected with storm flaps.
